Iterative Model of Bedroom

Iterative Model of Bedroom SCALE 1:20 I made a refined iteration of the paper + cardboard models made during week five and six.  Included is a human figure to indicate scale. Photographing Your Model Exercise  I dramatised the lighting and experimented with different angles to better understand how the space responded to light. I placed particular emphasis on shining the light through the side window as it corresponds to the east facing wall in my room and would similarly receive direct sunlight in the mornings.

Fusion360 3D Shapes and Assemmblies

Week 7 Initials Exercise (MY INITIALS ARE JMC) I made a few attempts for this exercise as I had originally chosen to use the initials JSC. Issues arose once I had tried to loft the three faces (as seen below), and I made two further attempts trying to round out the letters and soften the sharp corners. After recognising that the main issue was connecting the curviest letter, S, to the others, I eventually chose to use the initial of my other middle name, Mildred.  After adjusting all three letters to be more rounded and  stylistic, I was able to create a solid component with an interior thickness of 1.5mm. The final 3D model is shown below.  Material Experimentation: Week 8 Activity Whilst experimenting with rendering the 3D model, I wanted to choose materials that reflected my design intent to bring light and air to my models.
